About Hair PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Treatment

Hair PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is done by the patient’s own Platelet-Rich Plasma being injected into the scalp using a thin micro needle. Once injected, the growth factors in the blood cells will activate and the growth of hair will be stimulated naturally.  Hair PRP Therapy is a non-surgical and natural procedure used for the treatment of hair loss or thinning of the hair. There is no pain caused during the treatment, because it’s done using a thin micro needle to inject the blood into the scalp, but if desired patients can be given local/general anesthesia or sedation to minimize the pain. PRP Therapy can be performed alone or it can also be performed together with hair transplantation or restoration surgery. PRP treatment can also be performed to treat several illnesses.
