About VelaShape

VelaShape is a cosmetic treatment mostly undergone by females who want to achieve a more firm and fit body. The treatment is done using a medical device, which uses a combination of suction, massage, radio frequency energy and infrared lights to reshape the body by reducing cellulite. It is performed on the thighs, abdomen and buttock. It can be performed together with other treatments like Liposuction and Botox to give a final magical touch.

VelaShape Procedure

The specialist will apply the VelaShape hand piece onto the surface of the skin to be treated. The mechanic rollers on the hand piece will massage and smoothen the skin being treated and the infrared radio frequencies are directed into the skin. The radio frequencies warm up the underlying tissue that cause the fat cells to melt and break up. Then the fat is naturally flushed out of the body. VelaShape treatment is recommended for a couple of sessions which are done weekly up to 6 weeks.  VelaShape treatment takes from 20 minutes to 2 hours depending on the area and size of treated area.

Before VelaShape Treatment

• The area to be treated must be shaved and free from hairs 1 day before the treatment

• Patients must not apply any cream or lotion and make up on the area to be treated

After VelaShape Treatment

• Patients must apply post treatment lotion 3-4 times each day

• Patients must not pick any scabs which may form

Risk of VelaShape Treatment

Just like every treatment there is a small risk of complications to occur like redness that is temporary and will disappear within 2 days.

Trip Schedule of VelaShape Treatment

The patients will attend a consultation with the specialist and will be advised about the procedure and their condition. The patient will then be taken through a couple of tests that are required before the treatment and if everything is normal then VelaShape Treatment will be performed. The treatment will take 20 minutes to perform; the duration of the treatment can extend depending on the extent of treatment up to 2 hours. Once the treatment is over will be a check up and if the patient is in a good, healthy condition and feeling good, then they are advised with post treatment care requirements and are ready to be discharged from the clinic to their settlements.
