Pec Implants

The surgery is done on an outpatient basis and takes between 1 – 2 hours to perform, using general anesthesia so the patient is put to sleep during the procedure. The surgery will start with the surgeon creating incisions in the crease of the armpit, then under each pectoral muscle a large enough pocket will be created for the implants to be placed. Once the implants are placed the surgeon will check how it looks and make the final adjustments needed. Finally, the incisions will be closed with sutures and a compression garment will be worn over the treated area. If desired the patient is able to undergo other surgeries along with pec implants such as Liposuction and Botox.

• Male patients who are over the age of 20

• Patients who are at a good health condition and healthy both mentally and physically

• Patients must stop taking medication or herbal supplements 3 days before the surgery

• Patients must avoid smoking and alcohol 3 days before the surgery

• Patients must sleep at an upright reclined position for a week

• Patients must avoid direct sunlight until the incisions site has healed

• Patients must use medication prescribed by the surgeon correctly

There is a risk of complications to occur like every surgery like

• Swelling
• Bruising
• Allergic reaction to anesthesia
• Infection

General anesthesia – variety of medications given to ensure unconsciousness, loss of control of reflexes. The patient is put to sleep to not feel any pain or discomfort.

Incision – surgical cut made in the skin during surgery or treatment

Pec Implant Surgery will be performed. The surgery will be performed using local anesthesia. The surgery will take between 1 – 2 hours to perform. Once the surgery is over, the patient will be taken to a private room where they will be staying in hospital for resting.

Patients will attend a post surgery appointment for a final check up and consultation. The patient will be advised on further medication. If everything is right then the patient is ready to return to their destination or patients can enjoy their time in Turkey. Patients will need to have the sutures removed after 7 days from the surgery, they can either have the removal done in the hospital or done at their destination.

To reduce swelling patients must drink plenty of water and keep hydrated, maintain a healthy diet, resting is very important, ice or cold compress can be done and if instructed by the surgeon, a compression garment must be worn.
