Dogan Hospital is one of the first private hospitals established in Istanbul. Doğan Hospital was opened with the aim to provide patients a reliable and ethical service in 1990. Doğan Hospital was opened with a ceremony which was led by Turgut Özal (President of Turkey at the time). Since then the hospital has extended their service range by building a second block with the participation of Rauf Denktaş (President of Northern Cyprus at the time). With their great support, Doğan Hospital has converted from being a small clinic to a health group.
Doğan Hospital is one of the first hospitals which has received an ‘ISO 9000 Quality Management System’ Certificate in 2003. Doğan Hospital has improved their service quality with technological investments which are made annually. Doğan Hospital is entitled to be under being a ‘group’ hospital category according to the categorization made by the Ministry of Health.
